DLL university cooperations are an important initiative aimed at promoting the training of German language teachers worldwide. In bilateral or trilateral (with Friedrich Schiller University Jena) partnerships, local universities and Goethe-Institutes enable their students to obtain formal qualifications as German teachers, equipping them with the skills they need for everyday teaching practice.

The DLL university cooperations play a key role in promoting the German language and culture in a global context. They help foster intercultural dialogue and academic exchange, while also addressing the shortage of skilled workers.
